A unique valentines gift

I have a great idea for a unique gift you could get your partner this year for valentines day. It is a scratch card that you make yourself. The amazing thing about it is you could use it as a way of giving a present you have already bought for them. For example if you have bought her a ring all you need to do is make the scratch card a winning one and make the prize a ring. When she has scratched off the panels you then pull out the ring.

Another use is to treat your partner to days off house work or pamper them here are a few examples:

  • No washing up for 1 week.
  • No household chores for 1 whole day.
  • Breakfast in bed.
  • A massage.
  • Manicure/pedicure.

Those are just a few examples of what you can use as prizes but your imagination is your best friend, get creative.

You can always get the kids involved by having them do hand/foot prints on paper with some paint and use that paper as the backing of your scratch card.

Here is the how you make the scratch card. You get a piece of paper/card whatever and you can either write the prizes and have to match 2 or 3 to win that prize or have different drawings/symbols under the scratch off panel and they relate to different prizes.

Now the scratch off panel is easy. I cheated and got some off the internet. If you goto amazon and type scratch off stickers into the search bar you will easily find loads. All you have to do then is place a sticker over the prize, drawing or symbol and give it to your partner on valentines day.

Have fun and good luck.
